• SEANZ08 Conference

  From the 11th to the 12th of December 2008, Pacific Wind Energy will attend the SEANZ (Sustainable Electricity Association of New Zealand) Conference which will take place at the Te Papa Museum in Wellington.

• Test trial in Holland

  Since March 2008, in the South West of Netherlands, a test trial is being held to compare 11 different small wind turbines under comparable conditions.

• SMA and Fortis Join Research

  Small wind turbines rarely product electricity in a format that can directly be fed into the grid. Inverters therefore are needed. In an attempt to optimise inverter behaviour, SMA and Fortis join hands. SMA as the manufacturer of inverters which are well known in the solar industry is also developing a range of products especially for the use of small wind turbines.
