Generator Type
The generator is a synchronous, 3 phase permanent magnet one. It comes in different voltages, so you can connect 48Vdc, 120 Vdc, single phase grid or 3 phase grid applications.
Delays
Delivery time: between 2 and 4 months.
In order to optimize your system and production, each installation is specific and therefore equipment need to be ordered case by case.
Installation time: 1 or 2 days depending on the size of the mast.
Civil works need to be done a month before for the concrete to cure.
Masts
Standard masts are either Guyed wire mast or Free standing pole ranging from 12 to 18 meters.
Batteries
In a stand alone system, the battery pack that we recommend is a Rolls acid 48V 400 Ah.
Inverters
The Montana comes with a SMA Windyboy inverter if connected to the grid or a Victron Phoenix 48/3000 one in a stand alone system.
Safety system
Safety system by hinged vane which will gradually turn the rotor out of the wind and a short circuit system for the generator.
Production and Power Curves
The left graph gives you the annual production (in kWh) across a range of wind speeds.
The right graph gives you the instantaneous power (in W) across a range of wind speeds.

Average wind speed in New Zealand ranges between 5 and 7m/s.
